I called several locations for a quote. None of them had a smile in their voice and all sounded disinterested and less than interested in new business. A coworker recommended GLA bc he's been bringing his cars their for years. What a pleasant surprise. Talked to 2 different men, at different times; each was kind, professional and informative. Pricing for services was reasonable and routine. I believe they priced based on services performed and did not price gouge or invent/overinflate work. After paying for services, I asked where my car was parked. Pat offered to walk with me to it. Now that's service! They now have a new customer for life and I will recommend their services to anyone.

As always, I trust the service my cars receive at Gages Lake Auto. I appreciate the free loaners as well, which make the servicing of my car much less of a hassle.

It's always a pleasure to do business with the people at Gages Lake repair. They are so helpful, polite and knowledgeable. They are honest and go out of their way to help me. I'm disabled, but I'm sure they are just as helpful to everyone. It's nice to have a mechanic you can trust. I highly recommend them.

The customer service and the mechanical expertise at Gages Lake Auto are phenomenal. In the Lake Villa location, CJ is a tremendous customer service manager, and in the back Skip the mechanic is so good at what he does, we call him the "mechanical magician". Compared to a dealership, the cost for repairs is very reasonable. On our last visit, the repairs to our car were beyond expectation.
