Was pressed for time and my change oil notification was driving me nuts. Ken took my truck in and was able to get the oil changed within a short period of time so I could get to my next appointment. Thanks for the speedy service!!

I appreciate the staff in Lake Villa. Friendly, speak to me in a way I understand, keep me posted about upcoming issues with my old car. I also appreciate having a warm, comfie place to wait, and the option of a loaner car when I need it.

Skip has done great work on both of our cars. This last visit our van was fixed a couple hours earlier than originally estimated and within the original $ estimate. Very honest, trustworthy, skilled mechanic.

We have a 2000 Chevy Blazer. It's been in the family a long time. It's always a challenge to know how much money to invest, what to fix, where to spend the money. Skip, our mechanic always discusses our repairs with us and helps us prioritize what to fix. He takes extra time to make the non-traditional repairs, like repairing our door and latch that shifted in old age. We appreciate all you do to keep our 4 vehicles going!!!! We recommend Skip and Lake Villa/Gages Lake Auto Repair to all our friends.

Always greeted when I enter, very courteous and professional staff, love Ken and Skip (thought Jeff would be hard to replace). Our cars are always well taken care of. If anything wrong they will discuss what is wrong and review options with you, plus they speak so you can understand auto verbiage. Love your shop, clean, and you have a TV going. Everyone of your staff bends over backwards to accommodate your clients needs and requirements. Very impressive.
