10:30 in the morning. I have a delivery to make in Union Grove. I start my van and it is making ALL the bad noises. I shut it down, call Ken at the Lake Villa location. I explain exactly what it is. Not only do they get me in, they have a nice loaner car. I made my way to him, they got it fixed, found other problems because of this, delivery got made and all wrapped up by 4:30!! Does YOUR shop do this!!?

Best Macheinc Shop Around! I'm so glad I found them! It's nice to not have to worry about not having a car while your car is being taken care of they have great loaners! Trustworthy, Reliable, Great Communication!!! It's nice to be able to trust someone with your car, and know that they will figure out what's wrong and get the job done right! I've been taking my vehicles to Gages Lake Auto for years. Most recently my car's heater/defrost was getting too hot and I periodically smelled burnt plastic while driving. I brought my car to GLA and they fixed the problem at a reasonable price.

Im so glad I found these guys many years ago. When I was young I used to fix my cars myself but I rarely do that anymore. I bring them all the cars in my family(wife, kids, etc.) and I recommend them to my friends and neighbors. They are honest and communicate well. They have always done a great job on our Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Ford cars!

I used to really enjoy bringing my car here. I commute from Kenosha to Highland Park, and having a loaner while my car was being serviced was always a huge help. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been disappointing. But the most recent appointment may have been too much for me. I requested service Online but never received confirmation of my booking. I also didn’t receive the usual reminder the night before, which meant I had to reach out myself on the day of the appointment for clarification. By the time I did, the appointment had already passed, and no one followed up when I missed it. My family has trusted this location with our vehicles for several years, so this lack of communication was surprising and frustrating. I hope this is something that can be improved moving forward
